Throughout our lives, we get to believe so many lies about ourselves. Some of these lies can be rooted in our deepest wounds and traumas, they can also be labels that were placed in us by others or ourselves, they can also be a reflection of what we need the most or what we long for (i.e.: lie: I am an orphan, need: I need a father, truth: I am God’s beloved daughter!). Here is a list of lies I have come to believe about myself and God, accompanied with their antithesis, which has brought light, truth, and healing. These lies have been easy to unmask and the truths easy to believe, but God can do wonderful things (God-level things) in our lives, if we let him, and he has in mine, so I pray you let Him do it in yours too.
